DEANDRE COUSLEY, a Queens native, began training at the age of thirteen following his acceptance to Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts. He received a Merit Award from The National YoungArts Foundation prior to his graduation in 2014. Immediately following, he attended Steps on Broadway's Professional Training Program on a full scholarship. This program gave him many opportunities such as dancing with The Next Stage Project under the direction of Jana Hicks and Marijke Eliasberg. DeAndre is now working with Janis Brenner & Dancers under the direction of Janis Brenner. He is pursing a career in both commercial and concert dance as a performer and choreographer.
